Thank you for agreeing to be a host (billet) family. It is truly a rewarding experience that makes a difference in players’ hockey careers.

In order to ensure safety to our players, the NAHL and USA Hockey will need a prospective host family to complete the following steps:

1. Register with USA Hockey
2. Complete USA Hockey SafeSport Training
3. Complete USA Hockey Background Check (The background check is $30.)

Everyone age 18 or older living in the household is required to complete these steps. It is also a possibility a member of the Rochester Jr. Americans staff will visit your home to ensure a safe and adequate living situation for players. Once these steps are completed, your family will be approved to host a player.
