Think you can play for the Rochester Jr. Americans? Showcase your skills and get seen by our staff. Earn your spot with the best organization at developing players.

Pre-Draft Camps are designed for players interested in being drafted into the NAHL. They are the best way to get scouted by the Jr. Americans, maximize ice time, and gain exposure. Players must be born between 2004-2008 (16 to 20 years old) to be eligible.

The Jr. Americans will host two pre-draft camps:

  • 5/31 – 6/2 | Dwyer Arena | Niagara University | SIGN UP HERE
  • 6/7 – 6/9 | Rochester Ice Center | Fairport, NY | SIGN UP HERE

Our camps offer valuable instruction, skills, feedback, games, and more. They include a minimum of five sessions, including a specialized skills sessions with long-time professional Francois Methot. Additionally, goalies will have a specific session with our goalie coaches.

NAHL Exposure Camp

The Jr. Americans and the Rochester Ice Center are joining forces to present the NAHL Exposure Camp July 17th-20th, 2024. It’s an exceptional chance for aspiring players to get a taste of life as an NAHL Junior Hockey Player. Open to AAA & AA youth players born between 2009 and 2011 from both Rochester and across the nation, this camp offers a comprehensive experience mirroring that of an NAHL player.

Participants can expect top-notch development, exposure, and insights from coaches and experts in junior hockey. It’s a prime opportunity to enhance skills, gain exposure, and gather valuable information about the junior hockey level.


  • Each player receives a t-shirt and an official Jr. Amerks practice jersey
  • Camp Barbecue Friday from 4:00pm-6:00pm
  • Off ice training provided by Next Level Strength and Conditioning
  • Parent and Player Q&A session with all the NAHL team Staff
  • Use of the NAHL Jr. Amerks Locker room and trainers room
