Tender Alert: Rochester Jr. Americans Sign Will Falconer to Tender Agreement

May 1, 2023

FAIRPORT, NY — The Rochester Jr. Americans would like to welcome our latest tender Will Falconer.

Falconer, a 5’11” defenseman from Wisconsin, most recently played with the Oregon Tradesman of the North American 3 Hockey League. His offensive instincts resulted in 36 points in 46 games.

The NA3HL is an American Tier III junior hockey league. It is under the same umbrella and operation as the North American Hockey League. No other league has advanced more players onto play in the NAHL than the NA3HL. It serves as one of the top training grounds in the country for student-athletes by providing coaching and exposure.

Before his season with Oregon, Falconer was just shy of a point-per-game player with the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals. He tallied 4 goals, 26 assists, and 30 points in 32 games.

As an 2003 birth year, he is on the older side of junior hockey and only has one year of eligibility left in the NAHL.

A tender is a contract, of sorts. A player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.

The Jr. Amerks are very excited to welcome Will and wish him congratulations!
