Tender Alert: The Jr. Americans welcome home Rochester native and Sacred Heart Commit Cole O’Donnell

Mar 30, 2023

FAIRPORT, NY — The Jr. Americans are proud to tender Rochester, NY native and Sacred Heart commit Cole O’Donnell to this year’s inaugural class.

O’Donnell, a goalie, will be an important piece to puzzle this season between the pipes. He most recently wrapped his season with Berkshire School, a New England college prep school located in Massachusetts. According to Elite Prospects, O’Donnell played 23 games for Berkshire School this season and is listed at 6’1″ in height.

Back on August 4th of 2022, O’Donnell announced his commitment to Sacred Heart University.

A tender is a contract, of sorts. A player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders – plus or minus any trades – which become active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.

The Jr. Amerks are very excited to welcome Cole and wish him congratulations!
