Tender Alert: The Rochester Jr. Americans Proudly Secure a Tender From Ohio Named Connor Lemmerbrock

May 15, 2023

FAIRPORT, NY — The Rochester Jr. Americans are would like to welcome forward Connor Lemmerbrock.

Lemmerbrock signed his tender agreement with the Jr. Amerks after most recently playing with the Ohio Blue Jackets 18U AAA team. They are the premiere Tier 1 AAA program in Ohio. Given the success at developing players, the program is now nationally recognized as one of top programs in the United States developing players and moving players on to higher levels.

In two seasons with the Blue Jackets, Lemmerbrock played in 108 games totaling 49 goals and exactly 108 points.

The NAHL isn’t that unfamiliar for Lemmerbrock. Back in October of 2022, he played two games for the Kenai River Brown Bears, a team in the Midwest Division. He didn’t record a point, but playing in Alaska was likely a special experience.

Lemmerbrock was born July 30, 2004. His 2004 birth year gives him multiple seasons of NAHL eligibility if necessary. According to his Elite Prospects profile, he stands 6’0″ and 185 lbs.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.

The Jr. Amerks are excited to welcome Connor to our Jr. Amerks tender class!
