Jun 12, 2023

FAIRPORT, NY — The Jr. Americans are proud to tender defenseman Bronson Sabol!

The Madison, Wisconsin native spent this past season with CarShield 18U AAA. CarShield Hockey Club is a USA Hockey sanctioned Tier I hockey program located in St. Louis. Teams are based out of the Affton Hockey ice rinks and the St. Peter’s Rec Plex. As a part of their program, teams compete in the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), a Tier 1 AAA league that hosts showcase tournaments throughout the country.

According to his Elite Prospects, Sabol played 75 games this past season between the 18U AAA and NAPHL. As a puck moving defenseman, he put up seven goals and 31 points.

Sabol is a 2005 birth year making him one of the younger players of this year’s tender class. This means he has three years of NAHL eligibly. He stands at 6’3″ and 175 lbs.

A tender is a contract, of sorts. A player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.

The Jr. Amerks are very excited to welcome Bronson and wish him congratulations!
